Most solar problems on new builds are decided on paper
Roof shape, vents and skylights, where the battery can legally go, how much room is left in the switchboard, how cables get from the roof to the inverter. These get decided months before anyone from solar is involved, usually by people who aren’t solar specialists.
Fixing them later means compromises: a smaller array, a battery in the wrong place, extra penetrations, conduit run on the outside of a new house. Getting it right on the plans costs very little.

When is the best time to involve SolarLink?
As early as possible, ideally at concept or developed design. The earlier solar is considered, the cheaper it is to get right.
Do you do the install?
SolarLink focuses on design support and coordination. When the project is ready, we can help you find a suitable installer or coordinate delivery as part of the project.
Is a design review an engineering sign-off?
No. It is solar integration advice. Structural and other engineering sign-off stays with the relevant engineer.
Per-project or ongoing?
Either. A single review, a workshop for the team, or ongoing support across your projects.
Can you help us talk to clients about solar?
