Extra capacity for your solar jobs

SolarLink designs, compliance-checks and project-manages jobs for other installers and electrical companies — the technical backbone for busy weeks, tricky sites, or a job outside your usual scope. You stay the face of the job; we're the work behind it.

Who it's for
  • Installers needing overflow design capacity
  • Electrical companies adding solar without hiring a designer
  • Anyone wanting an independent second set of eyes
  • Teams with more DG applications than hours
What we do

Take on as much of the job as you need

01

System design

Full PV or battery system design for the job — string layout, inverter and equipment selection, and export/load calculations, handed back ready to build from.

02

Compliance check

An independent second set of eyes on the design and documentation against the current standards, before it goes to your customer or your sign-off.

03

DG & network paperwork

We prepare and manage the distributed-generation application and lines-company paperwork so it doesn't sit in your queue.

04

Labelling & documentation

Correct labelling specs and a clean documentation pack, matched to what the standards actually require.

05

Project management

As little or as much as you like — right through to commissioning and handover if you want it fully off your plate.

06

One-off or ongoing

A single tricky job, seasonal overflow, or an ongoing arrangement while you build in-house capacity — whatever suits.

How it works

From job to handover

01

Send us the job

Site details, scope, and what you need — just a design, or the whole thing.

02

We scope it

A fixed quote for exactly what's involved, so there are no surprises later.

03

We deliver

Design, compliance check, and paperwork, done to your timeline.

04

It's yours

A complete pack handed back to you — ready to build, quote, or submit.

Advice, or hands-on delivery?

This service is us doing the work — a design, a compliance check, a whole project — for a specific job. If what you actually want is help fixing how your business runs day to day, that's business consulting instead. Plenty of clients use both.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you sign our CoC or RoI?

No — we don't sign Certificates of Compliance or Records of Inspection for your jobs. The registered electrician who carries out the work stays responsible for the CoC, and any RoI needs to come from a party independent of the design. That's a legal requirement we can't take off your hands. What we do is the design, the paperwork and a compliance check before it goes out the door, so there are fewer surprises when it's time to sign.

You run your own install company — is that a conflict?

It can be, on the odd job — we won't pretend otherwise. If a conflict comes up, we'll flag it to you as soon as we're aware, and if it can't be resolved the engagement can end there by mutual agreement. Every job is otherwise treated as confidential.

What can we actually hand over?

As little as a one-off design, or as much as full project management through to commissioning — you choose what you keep in-house and what you hand to us.

How fast is turnaround?

It depends on scope. Tell us the job and your deadline and we'll give you a straight answer, and a fixed quote, before you commit to anything.

One link. Total support.

Got a job that needs a hand?

Tell us the scope and the timeline — we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit, and quote it straight.
